Jasmina Meets The President

6 year old Jasmina Anema, the little girl that touched the lives of so many with her story got to meet the President. Jasmina is sick from lukemia and her wish was granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

"Brooklyn resident Jasmina Anema met Obama in the Oval Office, where he gave her a box of M&Ms and a yo-yo both emblazoned with the presidential seal. She was later given a tour of the East Wing, where she made a wish at the holiday tree.

The visit, sponsored by the Make-A-Wish foundation, was originally scheduled to take place last week. Jasmina fell ill and was taken to a hospital in Washington, D.C., where she remained until Wednesday morning. Jasmina has already endured several rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.

Jasmina and the president discussed their love of reading and her favorite books, the Judy Moody series. She also told the president she would like a violin for Christmas."-source
